Feeling Thankful

It has been a while since I have posted. I am not as diligent as some bloggers.

Lately I have been feeling very thankful and blessed for the life I am living. Most of you know that Chad and I are expecting our first in November. Being blessed with the opportunity to carry a little miracle starts to put everything into perspective and make you appreciate the people and blessings you have.

1) It isn't about just me or Chad anymore, but also the little person growing inside of me.
2) You really start to reevaluate what is important.
3) I've learned to relax and give more to God.
4) I've been more prayerful and closer to God when I let go and give it to God.
4) Thank God everyday for the opportunities that I've been given.

In other news...

We have been busy purging, cleaning, renovating and reorganizing our house to get ready for the little one. It seems that in order for things to get clean they have to get messy first. Our living room has been a disaster for at least a year. Our goal is to have it completely cleaned up before the baby comes. I think that is a reasonable goal. We'll have to work fast though.

Colossians 3:15 (The Message)

15-17Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.
