The first few months everything went well a night, but then C turned into a heavy night time wetter. I know that the key is adding more absorbency, but covers only hold so much before they are ineffective and leak. Fleece is supposed to be a good method of containing leaks so I ordered a few fleece covers, but even that wasn't working. I had talked to Anj at Re-Diaper about wool.
Wool is supposed to be the sure thing when containing leaks. It is completely breathable, maintains normal body temperature - not too hot, not too cold - thereby greatly reducing the risk of diaper rash associated with heat and bacterial growth. I was a little nervous about using wool because it requires different care then my regular wash routine. After a weeks worth of leaks for my poor girl I was getting frustrated. Off I went to Re-diaper to talk to Anj about wool again. This time I purchased my first wool cover. I followed the instructions on a blog Anj sent to me. Here is the link if you are interested. http://understandinglaura.
Here is a picture of what my cover looks like.

It isn't itchy like some wool is. It is soft and feels really nice.
